Written years after the events described, the clarity with which he recalls the events and the details of daily life are amazing. The good-humored style and the simple stories have the power to make you wish you could have gone along with those hardy pioneers.

Donald Hamilton has done it again with another action packed Matt Helm mystery thriller. The Damagers pits Matt against a bevy of lethal beauties, Arab terrorists, and a psychopath with a grudge. Matt Helm is at his best in this adventure at sea when he tackles a case of a mysterious yacht with a deadly history.

Matt Helm is back in action and madder than ever to catch his sons killers in this fast-paced thriller. He teams up with his son's wife and her family to catch the assassins. The action is fast and the story is great as Donald Hamilton once again weaves a web of intrique and mystery. This is a must-read story.

A small, concise work detailing the history of these two companies but concentrating on the locomotives they produced. Generally excellent in technical accuracy. Technical details on each locomotive with lots of photos, mostly black & white. Complete listing of every locomotive produced with date, purchaser and road number.

While Kirkland's Baldwin book from the Diesel Builder's series is more scholarly, Diesels From Eddystone illustrates just about ever production variation of Baldwin's diesel production. A must have if you're a diesel fan

The pocket size and light weight make this a great addition for reference while at your nursing clinicals. Contains synopses of disease process, typical tests for diagnosis, and basic nursing assessments and interventions. I am doing a clinical nursing internship this summer and needed something compact for my briefcase, yet containing good info to refresh me on the diseases and illnesses I was encountering in my patients. This book fills the bill. My prof loved it too. The spiral binding is nice rather than a glued binding, but needs a bit of redesign as the back cover falls off. I just sewed up the openings with some fishing line to solve that problem. Highly recommended addition to your working library.

Well done and extremely well researched by a master of southwest story telling. Almost as good as "Love is a Wild Assault" by the same author,Elithe Hamilton Kirkland.
